Chair Club is a secret society (which has evolved into being not quite so secret anymore) set up for the promotion of chairs and bridges. Why these things? Well, for a start you'd be standing up right now without one of them. For additional reasons, I'd advise you to check out the Club History section.
It has now become a tradition for Chair Club to take a major role in the events of the University of Birmingham Guild of Students Exec elections every year, usually involving Damian/Captain Chair standing for President. In 2005 he achieved 106 votes, in 2006 184, and in 2007 he was disqualified once the Guild found out he wasn't actually a student anymore.
Chair Club's 'mascot' is Captain Chair, who leads the eternal fight against evil - which usually takes the form of Dr. Sabath (originally Mr. Sabath, but changed to make it sound less crap). Captain Chair's sidekick is Bridge Boy (occasionally 'Girl'). He is the star of many comics and TV series, of which further information can be found here.
In recent times, we've taken it upon ourselves to start filming our own adventures based on Captain Chair. Two have been completed so far, with a third currently in production, with additional ones in the planning stages. The videos are located here.
