One day Emma's mum decided that the only way her husband would get the bedroom finished before the students arrived was if she went and got all the materials for the job herself. So off we went to buy wallpaper...

Stover Country Park contains over 114 acres of woodland, heathland, grassland, lake and marsh, a substantial variety of wildlife, lots of bridges, no ice cream van and no seats on the toilets. We stopped there to eat our dinner before completing our wallpaper-buying mission.

There's lots of water at Stover Park, so lots of bridges have been built to get the people round. Unfortunately when we went my camera was suffering a battery-related dying disorder, so I was only able to take a few shots.

This is the sole bridge photo I took. It looks fairly new and is a plank construction. It's quite an elaborate design considering the size of the stream below.

Located next to the bridge is this chair, which has been delicately carved from a tree trunk.

This photo gives some idea of scale of the chair.

I was so impressed with the find (plus wanting to play with the video facility on my camera) that I shot this video. It was supposed to cover the entire chair and it's detailing, however I didn't get very far round it before the battery died. I was very sad. Anyway, thanks to the miracle of YouTube, here's the chair:
