Queensferry

My dad sometimes goes on little trips with his photography class to...well, take photos. Sometimes, if they promise to be really good, the Boss Person even takes them to a pretty bridge.

Queensferry - the Welsh one, though I hear the same holds true for the others - has absolutely nothing to do with the British rock band, 1970–1997ish. I was a little disappointed when I found this out, but I suppose this is something I am going to have to learn to live with. It does, however, have this nice bridge, which means as well as music, Queensferry doesn't have much of a requirement for a ferry either. Maybe they should consider getting the name changed.

Normally, I would be pointing out the advantages of going over bridges, however sometimes it is nice to go under them as well.

As you have probably worked out, without the bridge present these photos of a man waterskiing would look rubbish. However, with the bridge in the background the scene is transformed into a vision of beauty.

Try it yourself: add a bridge to a photo and turn it into a masterpiece.
