Who am I? You sure you want to know? The story of my life is not for the faint of heart. If somebody said it was a happy little tale... if somebody told you I was just your average ordinary guy, not a care in the world... somebody lied.

I am Damian and I have toys!

Born Damian John Richard Johnson, April 1981, Damian has gone on to be one of the most abnormal people in the world today. Labelled ‘freak’ by his teachers at school and ‘insane’ by many others, Damian set out to prove them all right.

He spends his days sat in front of two computers (one just wasn't enough) trying to get ligands to dock into proteins. He is fully aware that the stupid algorithm still doesn't work and his time is quickly running out, but Damian fears no impending deadline, and feels he could probably waffle for 50,000 words in his PhD thesis if he really had to.

Before this he spent 4 years earning himself a 1st in his Chemistry degree. In the past, he has said that this must mean he is clever, however in recent times he's had it pointed out that no one likes a smart arse, so will be keeping quiet in future.

Damian's hobbies include (excluding the obvious chair/bridge thing) annoying his parents by spending all his savings on toys, annoying tax payers by spending all their money on toys, and annoying professors by filling the shelves in their offices with toys. Oh, and watching A-Team.

Damian has spent the past 3 years as part of election campaign teams. The first resulted in him losing sensation in his arms for several months afterwards, the second resulted in him feeling really really ill after comedy hustings, and the third - the first in which he stood for election himself - he managed to recruit a campaign team who attempted to push him (plus chair) into every possible pit they could find. Finally, in 2006, he had a little more success and was only ill for about 1/4 of the campaign period.
