Manifesto Hustings Press Coverage Campaigning Results Night
This took a lot of work. Well, when I say 'a lot' I mean a hectic hour one Friday afternoon when I had to produce this, then run round the department trying to find people to sign my nomination form (a more difficult task than you might first think due to the whole 'its Friday afternoon and everyones gone home' thing').
The basic design came together very quickly, and it was only really the choice of photo that caused any serious debate. Note, photo below isn't actually the one I finally went with but otherwise this is what showed up in Redbrick the following week.
Some people upon seeing this manifesto thought my campaign was a joke and that I was making a mockery of the Guild. I had to sit through a lecture entitled 'Wasting the Guild's Money', which I am fairly sure none of the other candidates had to. I feel this was a little unfair because, as you can see, my election promises were far more important than anything anyone else was saying...and I've accomplished (to differing extents) all that I promised. How many of the people who actually won can say that?
