The Chairs of Big Brother

Love it, or, more sensibly hate it, Big Brother is and appears to be remaining a regular event. Looking on the bright side, at least one of the focal points of the show is a chair.

Big Brother 1

I actuslly watched this series. the reason for this was because it was pretty much the only thing on TV when I got home from my twilight shift of shredding my fingers open making microwaves. If you have a microwave, if there's all red inside, then think of the blood I shed so you could pop your corn.

Back to the topic at hand, after the series finished, the chair was bought by Alan Davies for £30,000 ... I have no idea why.

Big Brother 2

For the next few years I'm not really sure if the chair is right for the series or not because I pretty much stopped watching. I'll just leave you to enjoy the pictures.

This picture shows a contestant from the fourth series. I have no idea what her name is, which just goes to show how fantastically famous you can become after leaving the house.

Another housemate, another person whom we are happy disappeared back into the ether once they were kicked out of the house. I think this is the worst thing about Big Brother - I have no problem with a load of annoying people being taken off the street and locked up, it's them being released back into society that upsets me.

Big Brother 7

This is definitely the chair from BB7. I know this because I was forced to sit through a large amount of it by Emma. Happily though, I cannot remember who won, which means that the memories of the rest of it might disappear too with time.

It's also the chair that was used for celebrity BB at the beginning of '07. 'Who cares?' you may be asking. 'Good question,' I'd reply. The answer is that Dirk 'Faceman' Benedict was on the show! As well as coming up with some brilliant quotes during the course of it, he also arrived in the van!
