Pollaxes
Over the past 80 years, the one constant in Captain Chair's life has been his pollaxe. Here's a quick guide to the many different axes Captain has carried.
1) Aztec design from the original launch of Captain Chair.
2) Much smaller WWII version of the axe.
3) 60s version features a blade reminisent of the original aztec (though made of steel not gold).
4) The axe from the late 80s. A more heavy duty design to suit the 'gritty age' of comics
5) The 90s axe is an adaptation of the 80s one, slightly more battered and with holes to make it more lightweight.
6) A very simple design for the 'New' Captain Chair of the early 21st century.
7) The pollaxe as of 2005.
