1920s 40s 60s 70s 80s 90s CHAOS 2000s Today Pollaxes TodaySo, what is Captain Chair up to today? The best way to find out would be to head down to the newsagents and pick up a copy. Early last year Dr. Sabbath has returned from the grave (again) as it seems the man who destroyed the chairs in New York was not Sabbath after all! Damn imposters get everywhere...or is that lazy writers? Wouldn't be surprised if Bridge Boy made a return soon... Oh, wait he has... Over the summer was the House of Infinite Crisis storyline, during which Cap's long lost neice used her powers and changed the world so that chairs ruled the earth, then with those classic three words: 'no more chairs', changed the world so that the worldwide number of chairs was reduced to only a couple of hundred. Inadvertently this process also brought Bridge Boy back from the dead. Now in a post-House world, Cap's task is even harder than before. Enemies such as The Destroyer and Sabbath are now even closer to their goals of eliminating chairs and bridges forever, and what has been awakened by the shockwave of so much chair-energy being removed from the planet? Could this see the return of the ancient DryRot? And what is going on with the chair registration act and the brewing chair civil war? Only time will tell... |
